Toyota's recent mass recall may do long-term, fatal damage to the Toyota brand. And if they didn't recall? That would completely destroy Toyota. So what should Toyota do? Nothing can be done, because the mistake came earlier. I wonder whether the Toyota folks have found the cause by now? The reason I'd guess is awfully simple: they ran too fast. After many, many years of effort, the excellent Toyota finally became number one in the world in sales. In the process of becoming number one, Toyota went through round after round of nonstop, rapid expansion. Anyone who drives too fast is in danger, and Toyota is no exception. Others who were no exception: Citigroup, Lehman Brothers, AIG, Mengniu...... How come my keyboard has no enumeration comma? Typing commas all the way is really uncomfortable. I never learned how to use punctuation in the first place, and when I finally have one I know how to use, I can't find it. I won't give more examples. From now on everyone drive a bit slower, and be sure to buckle up.
