Suddenly switching to requiring people to be added as blog friends before they can comment has inconvenienced everyone. (I didn't know this feature existed; a friend just told me.)

This blog is mainly for discussing value investing. The posts matter very little; those interested can read the discussions at leisure.

I hope this is a platform through which people with some insight into value investing can understand it more deeply.

I don't want people who don't understand or don't believe in value investing to come here to challenge it. As I've said, all roads lead to Rome; we only focus on the one we're walking. People who prefer other roads have their own choices; I don't want to make any judgment, and of course I don't want our garden disturbed either.

I hope friends who want to be added will at least write something to show you have some understanding of value investing and are interested in joining the discussion further.

Say whatever you have to say in the comments so everyone can share and discuss; I won't reply to private messages, please excuse me.

This approach can also effectively limit the disturbance of all kinds of short-term trading ads.

I also hope blog friends won't attack others when expressing their views, and especially won't use any abusive words.

But I'd be very glad to see blog friends help me answer questions. I think blog friends often answer better than I do.

I'll still try my best to reply (only replies everyone can see; I hope you understand), but I hope friends asking questions will first read Old Buffett's stuff.

Every time I read Old Buffett's stuff I see some of my own shortcomings.

I'm very happy that since starting the blog I feel my understanding of value investing has progressed a bit more. Thank you all.
