Pro-am

Yesterday in LA I played in a pro-am (Northern Trust, the tournament being played this week). We were grouped with Martin Laird and finished second in the end. I played quite well myself: on the front nine I made par on all the hard holes, and on the back nine the other amateurs played brilliantly, so we shot a net -15.
My golf seems to have improved a bit lately. The Friday before last, on the 7th hole at our course (a 500-yard par 5), I reached the green in two for the first time and sank the putt for an eagle. I've made quite a few eagles before, but this one gave me the greatest sense of achievement. The next day I went and played nine more holes and actually went bogey free, also a first, ha. Too bad I didn't have time to play eighteen.
