What does this "10 zhuan 3 song 5" [Translator's note: 10转3送5, "for every 10 shares, convert 3 and give 5".] mean?
I can't quite understand it. How many shares will the original 10 shares become? Do shareholders have to pay more to take up 3 more shares? The literal meaning seems to be that old shareholders spend more money to buy 3 shares and end up with 18 shares?
Why make it so complicated?
