iphone 4s发售第一天就跑去排队买了一台，出来时碰上国内某著名公司的一个朋友，然后去他们公司看了一眼，回车上时居然把iphone的面给摔裂了。今天有空去苹果店换了一台，本来还想给太太也买一台的，发现iphone4s已经卖空了。现在要买的人必须晚上9点上网订，第二天去拿，稍微晚点恐怕就要等第二天…

On the first day the iPhone 4S went on sale I went and lined up to buy one. Coming out, I ran into a friend from a well-known Chinese company and went to take a look at their company. Back in the car I actually dropped the iPhone and cracked the screen. Today I had time to go to the Apple Store to get it replaced, and I'd wanted to buy one for my wife too, but found the iPhone 4S was sold out. Now anyone who wants one has to order online at 9 p.m. and pick it up the next day; a little later and you'll probably have to wait another day. What's interesting is that I first said I wanted to buy one, and the Apple Store staff told me there were none today; then I asked whether I could get mine replaced, and for a replacement they had stock. With the iPhone 4S selling like this, this quarter's financial report is going to set a record.

So tonight I went to buy one online, logging in right at 9 p.m. sharp and choosing the Palo Alto Apple Store; I only got in at 9:15. The white 64 GB AT&T one was already gone, and by about 9:40 p.m. everything was sold out. Anyone who still wants one will have to order online tomorrow night.

Really fierce!

Apple's sales system keeps improving; at least now you don't have to stand in line.
