This is the real Presidents Cup (the one Nicklaus keeps).

Last Thursday I went to play at a course in Pasadena, and Jack Nicklaus actually came too. I shot 79, supposedly the best on the Chinese team, but one of the Americans shot 75, so I didn't win anything myself.

At dinner Nicklaus said quite a lot. Here are the two points I remember about Tiger, to share with everyone:

1. About the rumor back then that Tiger and Mickelson didn't get along, Nicklaus said it simply wasn't so. The two of them were on very good terms at the time, chatting and laughing all the way, and after golf they even played ping-pong together back where they were staying.

2. Nicklaus thinks Tiger is the most gifted golfer he has ever seen. Although he still has some hurdles to get over, Tiger very possibly will break many more of Nicklaus's records. This Presidents Cup seemed to start proving that toward the end.
