**(Q)** On learning the auction was won, whom did you first want to invite along?

According to the rules, I can bring seven people. But I won't necessarily bring all my friends; I still hope to invite the most influential people in the cryptocurrency community. I hope the people I bring to meet Buffett are all the most representative of our industry, and also the very top talent in the global blockchain industry.

**(Q)** Before bidding, did you consider Buffett might refuse?

In fact, Buffett has already said through Reuters that he very much looks forward to meeting me and my friends and sharing a happy lunchtime together; you can see this in recent reports.

**(Q)** What do you most want to ask Buffett at the lunch?

Actually, as a practitioner in blockchain, I just want to report to him on the development of the blockchain industry and the crypto industry. His understanding of this industry may stop only at Bitcoin in 2009. As for smart contracts, which emerged in 2015, the DAPP ecosystem that emerged in 2017 and 2018, and decentralized finance, which emerged in 2019, I think Buffett may not understand them well enough. So I want to use this opportunity to increase exchange and friendship, and let Buffett understand blockchain more fully.

And then I also hope that I personally can become Buffett's best friend in the blockchain industry; if he wants to know about fun things in the blockchain world, he can contact me right away. That way, we can form a long-term, close channel of communication between the blockchain and cryptocurrency community and traditional institutions and traditional financial investors, which I think will give a very big push to the development of both industries.

**(Q)** Whose idea was the bid, and did the team object?

The idea was certainly put forward by me, for three reasons:

First, I'm a believer in Buffett's value investing, and I've also made a lot of money with Buffett's value-investing philosophy; winning this charity lunch is also a way of repaying Buffett;

Second, TRON (波场) has always been committed to bringing benefit to society and giving the money it earns back to society. This year's target is 100 million RMB. The more than 30 million paid for this charity lunch is also donated to the Glide Foundation (格莱德基金会). Before this we also donated more than 20 million yuan to the Binance Charity Foundation, donated 10 million yuan to Hupan University, and donated 1.5 million yuan to an ALS foundation (渐冻人基金会). This is also part of the process of our realizing social public welfare;

Third, I want to become a connecting bridge between traditional institutional investors and practitioners in the blockchain industry, and I also want to report to old Mr. Buffett on the development and changes of our blockchain industry over these past few years. The team all understood and strongly agreed.

**(Q)** Do you know Duan Yongping (段永平) and the others who lunched with Buffett before; what's the biggest difference?

Duan Yongping, of course I know him very well; he can be called China's Buffett. I think his understanding of Buffett's value-investing theory should make him number one in China. Including Duan Yongping's later investments in Pinduoduo, OPPO and VIVO, and then his results in the fields of phones and manufacturing, which can stand alongside world-top companies like Apple, I think that truly is a source of pride for Chinese people. As for Zhu Ye (朱烨) and Zhao Danyang (赵丹阳), I don't know them especially well, because after all I'm a post-90s kid, and at that time I hadn't had contact with China's capital market.

**(Q)** Are the traffic and attention it brought in line with expectations?

The biggest problem of the current blockchain industry and cryptocurrency community is the lack of communication with traditional investors and traditional mass media. I think maintaining this kind of communication and exchange is very important, and the best is of course this kind of face-to-face exchange. So this is also a very important reason why I won this lunch.

**(Q)** Some think this will smear Chinese people's values; your view?

This charity lunch with Buffett will be very helpful for practicing charity, for me personally, for TRON and BitTorrent, and for the whole blockchain community. I think this is the core.

**(Q)** Do you agree with Li Lin's (李林) assessment of the dispute between you and Wang Xiaochuan (王小川)?

On any event, everyone will have his own view; that's very normal.

**(Q)** Did you expect controversy? Which voice impressed you most?

The view Wang Xiaoshan (王小山) gave on Weibo I think is quite good: a 30 million charitable donation, and along the way mooching a meal off Buffett. The charity is from the heart, the Buffett meal is mooched; that's just how it is.

I only need to serve the community well, serve every TRON developer and user well; that's what we most need to do right now, and other things aren't as important.

**(Q)** How do you understand value investing in the crypto world?

As I see it, a long-term value-investing strategy and digital assets are one and the same thing. Our community members know that popularizing blockchain's value and reasonable use cases to mainstream society is a long and hard road; our goal is to tell everyone that real investment is related to vision and execution.

**(Q)** How do you assess this auction?

I think this lunch is actually not just a lunch between Buffett and me personally; more importantly it's such a meeting between this emerging blockchain industry and cryptocurrency community and traditional institutional investors, so I think its significance is very far-reaching.

**(Q)** How do you see old money and new money?

Actually too many people are still focused on so-called "price". I'd still hope observers inside and outside the industry would look more at TRON's blockchain explorer, try our developer tools, and communicate more with members of the community. My team and I now work 7×24 hours, serving developers and users, and that may be more meaningful than dividing into old money or new money.
